Concierge Lead

The Concierge answers incoming calls and questions, greets visitors, ensures visitors sign in and out, takes accurate messages and forwards calls to the appropriate person in a professional and efficient manner. Takes reservations for community’s various services and amenities; submits work orders; makes deliveries of packages, dry cleaning, etc. Provides clerical and administrative support to department heads. Keeps management well-informed of progress on assigned tasks, duties, and responsibilities.
Operates and manages standard office equipment, including but not limited to: computer, printer, multi-line telephone, copy / scan / facsimile machine, and calculator. Strong command of MS Office products, with strong knowledge of Google Docs. This is a full-time position.

Assistant Director

The Assistant Director assists in the management of a non-profit independent & assisted-living retirement community located in Northbrook, Illinois. Experience in senior living and gathering data for budget development preferred. Candidate must possess strong management skills, be able to multi-task, be able to supervise and motivate staff members, possess basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and respect & have demonstrated compassion for the elderly. Must be able to support the demands of maintaining and growing occupancy, support meeting budgetary demands; able to support the requirements of maintenance to buildings and grounds, delivery of quality service to residents, and demonstrate quality leadership by showing consistent initiative and maintaining a cohesive and caring team among the staff. This is a full-time position.

Driver / Logistics Associate

The driver operates the bus / van to take residents to personal appointments, medical appointments, community events, and other transportations requests for our upscale senior living retirement community. When not driving, associate delivers packages, pharmacy items, flowers, dry cleaning, and other items received to residents’ apartments. Assists with set-ups for community events and activities. This is a full-time position.

Assistant Director, Dining Services

Assists Executive Chef in maintaining all kitchen operations including ordering, scheduling, costing, cleanliness, food quality, resident satisfaction, and preparing menus that are balanced. Manages front of the house. Schedules serving staff to maximize productivity, control labor costs, and ensure resident satisfaction. Ensures all assigned opening/closing side work to prepare dining room, bar, kitchen and service stations are completed as directed for efficient operation during meal times. This is a full-time position.

Dining Room Manager

Manages the dining room operations and wait staff, ensuring high quality service is provided at all times.  Assists Executive Chef in maintaining all kitchen operations including ordering, scheduling, costing, cleanliness, food quality, resident satisfaction, and providing input for menu development.  Demonstrates efficiency in completing job requirements, working with a sense of urgency, consolidating tasks, and delegating and empowering others while managing their efforts.  Assists with the coordination and execution of special events and activities, including cooperating with the community sales team for their culinary needs.  Full-Time Position.

Chef

Seeking a full-time Chef for the meal program of an upscale senior living retirement community in Northbrook, Illinois. Wait Staff

The wait staff provides service for an evening meal program for our upscale independent senior living retirement community. The meal program provides evening meals five nights per week, from approximately 5:00pm — 7:00pm. It is anticipated that servers will work from approximately 4:00pm — 7:30pm each evening dinner is served, with additional hours possible for prep work, special events and private events. Occasional Sundays from 8:30am – 1:30pm shifts for brunches. Scheduling is flexible where the servers can be scheduled one or multiple nights per week, however, once servers are scheduled they are required to work complete shifts. This is a part-time position.

Housekeeper

Seeking a full-time Housekeeper at an upscale senior living retirement community in Northbrook, Illinois.
